I started watching, and yes, I like it, but apparently it is one of the lower rated new shows of this season, so dont get your hopes up.

That was a great movie. Malcolm McDowell as H.G. Wells, and Mary Steenburgen in the female role, with David Warner as Stephenson (Jack the Ripper). They were all so much younger in those days. Weren't we all. I believe the movie was where McDowell and Steenburgen met, and then married, and of course then divorced.
