Its because they keep making propaganda instead of entertainment....

About the only new show I’ve seen an ad for that remotely looks like it might have some promise is the one with the chick from dharma and greg.. where she starts to date a guy with 3 kids, has no experience with kids and her imaginary friend returns...

I have no idea if the show will be any good or not, but its the only thing from a premise perspective I’ve seen that I would even remotely give a shot.

The attempt at a show based on sheldon as a child they have announced they are exploring, has cop rock/after Mash written all over that.....

Saw the advert. It’s called Imaginary Mary. IF they stick to light comedy could be a good change of pace

I was a huge fan of the original Battlestar Galactica. So, about a decade ago, my daughter loaned me a boxed set of an entire season. I watched a few episodes, but it felt like I was being strung along. It felt like it took two episodes to develop a story that could have been developed in 20 minutes.

It felt like the show was just filler to give you something to keep you viewing between commercials.

Meanwhile, I got turned on to Firefly and bought the entire series. My wife did the same thing with Reba. We know those entire series by heart now. She has Reba on while working around the house.
