If the cost of medical services (and drugs) wasn’t so outrageous, we might not need as much “healthcare,” i.e. insurance.
It is true that medical costs are way too high. Highest in the World. But we are a capitalist society and medical costs are decided by those willing to pay for them. I like the tax credits on buying insurance because it lowers everyones taxes which should be a goal for conservatives to embrace. It used to be that way but conservatives have gone towards liberalism moreso in the past years.
