Movie studios should not promote a deadly "lifestyle" to children.

Seeing or not seeing Beauty and the Beast is more or less a binary choice for a Christian. If your church marries sodomites and accepts the behavior, you might call yourself Christian and see the movie, but the Bible believers will not.

There is another movie out right now that seems to be much more confusing called "The Shack". From the trailers I watched, I perceived that God is a black female. And in another scene, she shows her wounds and tells the man that she never left Jesus on the cross. Of course the Bible says Jesus cried out "Father,( or mother whatever the case may be), why have You forsaken me?" I've been reading reviews by people I trust to know the Truth and it is universally panned as a movie. The problem is the pew sitters are flocking to the movie with rave reviews. If you don't know your Scriptures, you should not see the movie, IMO. The author doesn't believe in Hell and has no problem with gay marriage, so you know where he is coming from from the start. Just knowing that he chose to make God a black woman says a lot without knowing anything else. Of course if God can be a burning bush or speak through a donkey, I suppose He could be a black woman.

The problems arise when reasonably solid Christians fall for an emotional story instead of looking to Scripture for guidance. Many in my church went to see this and came back recommending it to everybody. I hate to be too critical without having seen the movie, but I just smell heresy. Paying to see movies is basically giving money to people that support Satanic ideas and give money that want to persecute the church. Anyone that saw "Noah" knows that things went waaaay south when "rock people" helped to build the Ark. Then we found that there were survivors in the flood waters that entered the Ark. What a weak Christian would receive from that was since Noah's Flood was a myth fairy tale anyway, I guess the movie can say whatever it wants. What would have been so hard to just take the story from Scripture and put it up on screen? Why make God a woman? Why was "The Last Temptation of Christ" made to show Jesus having relations with Mary Magdalene? It's because the people making the movies are NOT Christians. Not even pretend Christians. We saw the effect Christians could have on the industry when "The Passion of Christ" was released, almost single handily. All a writer has to do is take a Bible story and tell it verbatim on the screen to have a winner. But we see having a money maker is not all they are after. They are more than willing to lose money to get their idea into the church.

We have known that Disney has gone to the dark side for decades since Walt died, yet we still support them.

We are called to be a holy people, set aside for God. Being holy doesn't mean good, necessarily, but it does require us to be separated from the world and dedicated to God. We are called "a peculiar people", "aliens", and this is not our home. This should be talked about from the pulpit if a Shepard cares for his flock. These idea's come from somewhere and infiltrate the flock to our detriment. Life is full of choices and having to decide whether or not you take your child to watch sodomites kissing should NOT be one of them. "Curiosity killed the cat" takes on a whole new meaning when your child grows up and decides to "come out" because they have been spoon fed a lie in the culture and in school. Our eyes and ears are called "spiritual windows" in Scripture and what goes into them is hard to get out, once in. I can't tell you how many Christian parents give excuses about letting their children watch stuff they shouldn't, saying "we teach them different". Once in, those images cannot be removed and forgotten, especially when schools and culture tell them mom and dad are morons and God is a myth.

I'm sure "license" was taken in "The Ten Commandments" with Heston, or "The Passion", but it is far from telling us sodomy is good and God is a woman or a child, as He was portrayed in the latest "Exodus". Hollywood has already vowed to put homosexuals and homosexuals scenes in every movie, TV show, and even commercials from now on. Drowning us in sodomy won't make it right, just annoying. I predict in the future, Christians will be forced to binge watch reruns of I Love Lucy or Mr Ed, and anything made prior to 1980. I even know pastors today that don't even have a TV in their house. When I have a DVD for them to watch, I have to bring equipment to them or invite them to my house to even watch it. I used to think that was fairly radical, but today, I'm not so sure.

But I bet they would censor something if China found it offensive.

BINGO!

There wouldn’t have been a need to censor the content if they had not bragged about the content. That same scene was in the animated version and there was no flack.

Disney is saying this to mollify the RAT base. A few weeks down the line they will make the cut. They aren’t going to give up Maylasian revenue.

Homosexual recruiting. Poor Walt is probably doing 500 RPM in his grave.

Let’s hope that when this movie inevitably bombs, Iger gets fired by the stockholders for this.
