I think his debate performance will hurt him, one still has to act like a leader and he may have come up short on that. I agree with what he said but maybe not the correct time to say such.
Polls were AGAINST us, polls were AGAINST BREXIT, polls don’t mean SQUAT not anymore NOT for people who DAMNED DETERMINED to take their countries back!!!
I take it that detecting sarcasm isn’t your strong suit.
She’s probably a blonde.
EXACTLY.
From the link:
8.10pm GMT update: As the first full exit poll comes out it’s looking like at least four parties will be needed for a majority government.
8:01pm GMT update: Exit polls are out.
Mark Rutte’s VVD leads on 31 seats.
PVV, CDA and D66 are on 19 seats.
Exit poll differs from yesterdays poll, VDD differs by +4 points, and PVV by -5.

Its a ridiculous proportional representative system - causes chaos all over Europe that uses this way to vote.
I agree. Why go to the trouble to build a real national party when the second pace party has no say in governing but a party that pulls in 5% can be a power broker and win major ministerial posts. Nuts.
Actually what I would call a Parliamentary System would the Constitutional Monarchies of Canada and the UK. These are systems of responsible representative government, much like the US Republican system. They are biased to creating majority governments, not minority ones. Minority governments in Canada and the UK are very rare.
The Dutch, Israel, and other nations in Europe use a ridiculous pure democracy model, sometimes called Proportional Representation, which are a complete disaster.
Hoping, like in the US election, that exit polls are meaningless.
sadly no, Rutte won.
It will take a minimum of a four party coalition to rule. The party that was a junior party in the current coalition will lose half or more of its seats this time, so they will not be first to join a coalition this time.
People’s Party (VVD, centrist) has 41 seats, expected 24 seats. Labor (PvdA, left, coalition partner) has 38 seats, expected 13 seats. So the ruling coalition is expected to go from 79 seats to 37 seats, a clear rejection.
Unclear gaining/losing seats: Socialist Party (SP, hard-left) 15 seats, expected 14-16 seats. Christian Union (CU, pro-immigration, socially conservative!) 5 seats, expected 5-7 seats. Reformed Political Party (SGP, Calvinist) 3 seats, expected 3 seats.
Gaining seats: Freedom Party (PVV, center-right, referred to as “far-right” in all fascist media) has 15 seats, expected 20-24 seats. Christian Democrat Appeal (CDA, center-left) has 13 seats, expected 17-21 seats. Democrats 66 (D66, center-left) has has seats, expected 16-20. Green Links (GL, far-left) has 4 seats, expects 16-17. Animal Rights (PvdD, far-left) has 2 seats, expected 5-6. Pension Party (50+, left) has 2 seats, expected 4-5. Other Parties, 0 seats, expected 3-6 seats.
So while the ruling parties will likely lose about 42 of 79 seats, the Freedom Party will only pick up a likely 5-9 of those seats. The remaining 33-37 seats will mostly go, in American terms, to left or far-left parties.
“Dutch Prime Minister’s VVD Party first in election: exit poll”
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s VVD Party won the most seats in parliamentary elections on Wednesday, according to a second exit poll published by national broadcaster NOS.
The anti-Islam Party for Freedom of Geert Wilders was tied with two other parties at 19 seats apiece in the 150-seat house of representatives, while the VVD won 31 seats, according to the poll based on interviews with voters.
Actual results are expected by midnight.
