To explain away the ‘client copy’ stamp, the story was quickly hatched to claim
1) Trump leaked his own tax return or
2) (Howard Dean theory:) Trump wants everyone to know he’s rich
neither is true
Anyone can stamp “client copy” on anything and run it back through the copy machine. It is ridiculous for the media to even speculate about that detail, IMHO.
