You are not allowed to say it like that in islam. Saying anything bad about Muhammad is punishable by death, and truth is no defense (specifically disallowed).

It really isn’t saying anything bad about Muhammad. In Islam, everything Muhammad did, was perfect, by definition.
The reason they get upset is because it destroys the taquiya (lying to advance Islam) in the west.
It is bad tactics. That is why they get upset with it.
