Shhh. When they merged with another bank in those magical 90s it made a $1000 loan I had disappear. Now for sure I’m not going to tell them.
I paid a vehicle loan off with cash after they mis-reported it to the credit outfits that it was in default. They said because it was a computer error, they could not correct the credit score black mark and they could not give me the title because the computer would not let them do it.
Just unbelievably asinine.
I’m quite happy they forgot your loan. Hopefully there are others out there that got lucky.
