I work for a company based in the Binghamton area. If not for SUNY Binghamton, the area would be even more depressed. United and American just pulled service out of the Binghamton airport. Retirees are leaving as soon as they can sell their homes. Andy has done a great job Governing the rest of NY - he only cares about the City.
I heard a rumor that the NYS legislature is thinking about enacting an “exit tax” on homeowners who sell up and leave the state. If true, that’s not gonna help with the outflow of taxpayers and jobs.
