All he has to do is get rid of all the federal employee unions. Also allow direct hiring of contractors and stop the third party non sense. That would solve 98% of the problems without the political fallout.
Exactly. At minimum, get rid of executive order 13522, which gives “pre decisional” authority to the federal unions for most managerial decisions. I don’t know where the idea that federal unions are strong comes from. There is little or no impact they have on the budget. Cannot negotiate over wages, do not have to join them. They are as toothless as a 110 yr old man.
The chief benefit from cutting the federal workforce is to limit the meddling and over-regulation not saving money.
