I'd win." That's how Hillary Clinton responded when asked at Wellesley College what she would do differently in her failed run for the presidency in 2016. She's deceiving herself.
The Clinton candidacy suffered from many things, but nothing more so than a self-imposed feeling of invulnerability and inevitability. Just do a random search on YouTube if you don't believe it and watch how all the soi-disant experts yammered on and on about how Hillary couldn't lose, Trump was already finished, the election was over.

“B!tch” is genderless.
If anything, Hillary received a bump because she is a woman—which is completely opposite from the narrative that the professors at NY University were trying to create when they recreated the debate with the genders switched. And in the end, even that boost she got simply for being a woman was not enough to put her over the top. Most voters still voted on issues, not gender.
One other little thing that is sometimes mentioned is that Hillary all-but neglected states that were supposedly slam-dunks for Democrats. I think the wrong interpretation is given to that fact. I think that she purposely avoided those states because she knew that to campaign there would actually decrease her support. She was that nasty and vile a candidate.
In the end, the better man won. And it wasn’t because he is a man.
She lost because she was lazy, sick, stupid, and has nothing to offer. Typical communists Democrat.
The only thing that amazed me about the election result was that Trump didn’t win by a much larger margin. I guess the 24/7 media assault on Trump did more damage among “low information voters” than I originally thought. I was hoping America was more intelligent but nobody ever went broke underestimating the ignorance of the typical citizen. Even my own mother (a Trump voter) calls me constantly about how CNN et al is treating President Trump. I tell her that they will spend the next 8 years trashing Trump no matter what he does but she continues to hold out hope that they will come around. She doesn’t understand that they are Leftists who hate America and wish for world socialism.
And 1/2 crazy and a drunk.
She ran some of the worst campaign Ads of the season wasting all that money. Her voice would start almost each and every one of them giving you time to switch stations cause they were so bad, negative and repetitive along with the campaign billboards & posters that littered the streets.
Hers? "I'm With Her". The only operative word there is "her", meaning her identity as a female. And that really was the gist of her campaign, a sense of unfair denial of a position that was rightfully due, entirely inward-directed. Worse in that respect was her other slogan, "Stronger Together", meaning the same thing and utterly exclusive of anyone whose political identity did not carry a cachet of oppression and resentment. Again, entirely negative and implicitly aggressive toward the shared political enemy.
Trump's was a public campaign filled with vigor, even bombast, and played personally to large audiences, filled with flags and patriotism and actually inclusive of the working class. Hillary's was nothing like that, her public appearances terse, brief, heavily scripted, and appallingly insincere. Openly dependent on connections with the wealthy and influential, exclusive of anyone else except under the terms just listed. Insular. It isn't a good face for a political candidacy.
It wouldn't have taken a lot to fix this. Does anyone remember what her intentions were with respect to foreign policy or domestic energy production? If so, congratulations. What do we remember other than a relentless drive to change the country through aggressive social policies directed at class enemies (who voted, incidentally)? A woman could have won, yes, but not that woman. It comes down to the candidate, as it nearly always does.
“Putin aide: Clinton advisors met with Russian ambassador ‘lots’ of times’...”
Hillary lost because the MSM covered for her every crime... no one trusted her. The New York Times and Washington Post took Hillary down...
I sort of miss her. It was great to make fun of her on an almost daily basis.
“Deplorables!”
Oh yeah, That left a mark and still stings.
Her being an evil, vindictive, volatile, craven, unethical, acquisitive, and murderous sociopath incapable of telling the truth just may have had more to do with it than her gender...
...sickly, drunken...
A few more will doubtless come to me.
Her campaign may have been badly run however, IMHO American women were willing to vet her; the result was she couldn't win because most Americans knew of her crooked past and her lies...many of which are on videos...Hillary said she was Bill's co-president...a lot of people felt sorry for the philanderer.....plus it was obvious that Hillary wanted Socialism as badly as Obama did. I will always blame her serial lying as her main down-fall...using her office for self gain comes in pretty close.
good grief...we know already...it was the Russians
She assumed it was her turn. Why? Because she had been touted as “the smartest woman in the world”! Well duh.......she wasn’t!
