I don’t mind the falling back, it’s the spring forward that gets me.
Think I’ll move to AZ.....
I'm in AZ and I love not having to change clocks; it's much less disruptive. In the summer it is light by 5:30 am, so I automatically get up with the sun and go for a swim before it's 1000 degrees outside and the pool water is still cool. I still get to work at the same time, I just do more chores in the morning beforehand. In winter, I usually sleep until 7am, still get to work at the same time, and swim after work. While I am swimming in the dark, the pool is heated in wintertime, so who Cares? If we did DST here in the desert, it would be 100 degrees by 8 am and that would be awful.
Although I do like the idea of the Medieval "second sleep," where they went to bed so early in the winter that they would wake up after about 4 hours, putter around for 2 or 3 hours, then go back to bed.
My vote is for two sleeps!
