My (rather limited) experiences traveling in Africa suggest to me that corruption...particularly *government* corruption...is a major factor in Africa's woes.
If I'm correct to believe that it seems imperative that any efforts to help distressed people there cannot go through the hands of local,or national, officials.
Just sayin'...
Very logical.
And a long term solution is to “fix” the governments. Otherwise, it will continue forever.
Kind of obvious — I wonder why people (especially the Left) miss the connection?
