I have been involved in homeschooling for over a decade. I have never heard of “TheBlackHomeSchool.com”, and we have several black homeschooling families in our community.

This web site smells like a liberal gaslighting attempt to look homeschool friendly...but is really there to bash conservatives.

Is there any way to tell how old this site is, who owns it, when it started, etc.?

The answer to your question is but a WHOIS lookup away. Please note however that the registrant may be someone not directly involved with the content of the web site. That person might just be the web designer who made the site, or someone else who helped the group set up the web site. I redacted the contact information that is a part of the registration.

They created the domain in 2013. From the WHOIS data it looks like a legitimate web site set up by somebody to express their opinions, which is a good thing, regardless of whether or not one agrees with everything they say.

Domain Name: THEBLACKHOMESCHOOL.COM Registry Domain ID: 1826013541_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.bluehost.com Registrar URL: http://www.bluehost.com/ Updated Date: 2016-09-06T13:48:30Z Creation Date: 2013-09-06T13:48:01Z
