It is possible that Obama is NOT a US citizen at all. His mother ceded his US citizenship so that he could go to school in Indonesia and also so he could be adopted by Lola Soetero.

US law is explicit that a parent cannot renounce a minor child's US citizenship.

He also used some passport not a US passport when he visited Pakistan when he was 22 years old, after the window expired to reclaim his US citizenship. US citizens were prohibited from visiting Pakistan at that time. What passport did Barry use? Oops.

Utter nonsense. What there was was a State Department Travel Advisory regarding Pakistan, and what that advisory said was that you couldn't get a visa into Pakistan from India by walking up to the border crossing at Wagha, so you'd better have your visa already in hand if you're trying to cross there.

Here's a New York Times Travel Section article on visiting Pakistan from 1981, the same year Obama went. From the article:

Tourists can obtain a free, 30-day visa (necessary for Americans) at border crossings and airports. Transportation within Lahore is plentiful, with taxis, scooter rickshaws and horse-drawn tongas (especially in the old city) readily available. Insist that taxis and scooter rickshaws use their meters to determine fares, however. Fares for longer journeys (for example, to the Shalimar Gardens) may have to be negotiated; ask the hotel staff for help.
Not only was travel allowed, it was encouraged, and US relations with Pakistan were very friendly. President Reagan was selling President Zia large amounts of weapons and at a reception for Zia in Washington in 1982, said:
Our relationship is deep and long-standing. It stretches back to Pakistan’s first days of independence. It stretches forward as far as we can see. It’s based on mutual interest, yes, but also on shared visions and goals in the world around us. It is based, as well, on the fact that the people of both our countries sincerely value the good relations and the affinity between us.

Our people already work together in significant ways through educational exchanges, tourism, economic cooperation, and through bonds of family and friendship. We have cooperative programs in science and technology and in agriculture, and we hope to explore with the Government of Pakistan various ways of enhancing cooperation.

(Bold mine)

I am re-posting this from too many times before...

Don't get me started!

First of all we do not know who he is, but let's go with the narrative that he was born on a tropical island to a white woman and a black Kenyan on Aug 4, 1961.

This was posted on Zippo's campaign website in '08, no longer there but FactCheck had posted it in reply to a story in the Rocky Mountain News that Barack Obama "Holds both American and Kenyan (since 1963) citizenship."

“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.
British Nationality Act of 1948 (Part II, Section 5):
Subject to the provisions of this section, a person born after the commencement of this Act shall be a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies by descent if his father is a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies at the time of the birth.
The Kenyan constitution does state that if you do not denounce your other citizenship and swear an oath to Kenya then your citizenship does in fact expire. Originally it was listed on his 21st birthday but then corrected because of a 2 year grace period to Aug 4, 1984. Big deal Greg...Well it is. Enter the British Nationality Act of 1981.
Every person who— (a)under [F105the British Nationality Acts 1981 and 1983][F106or the British Overseas Territories Act 2002] is a British citizen, a [F107British overseas territories citizen] , [F108a British National (Overseas),] a British Overseas citizen or a British subject; or (b)under any enactment for the time being in force in any country mentioned in Schedule 3 is a citizen of that country, shall have the status of a Commonwealth citizen.
emphasis mine

The UK was terminating the title of "subject" and replacing it with "Commonwealth Citizen" in this act. So the date above is relevant because the commencement date of the BNA 1981 was Jan 1, 1983 while Obama was still considered a Kenyan Citizen thus being a British Subject then became a "Commonwealth Citizen" of the UK.

He is not a US Citizen if we believe the phony birth certificate or we don't. And I'll never get back the time I have spent on this subject....
