Why is the government even involved in the business of healthcare?
The government should NOT be involved in healthcare. Medicare is going to be forever... we don’t want any more.
A very few federal regulations for the health insurance industry is all we need.
1. All insurance policies can be sold in all 50 states
2. Every company needs to offer, among whatever else they want to offer, at least one low cost catastrophic plan.
3. Every company needs to offer at least one high cost pre-existing plan.
The Feds can offer start up funding to states encouraging CHARITIES to run free and low cost clinics in their state.
