What ESPN and any broadcast media company can do is replace all of their talent with personalities like the redhead woman and blonde man in the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wLw_FuBe54&t=00m12s

Automation Technology is the way of the future whether we like it or not.

last night, ESPN2 had a documentary about how a wnba player moved from a ‘failed’ marriage to being a lesbian with a team coach.

It was super sympathetic and did not mention how the husband/kid were impacted.

It is similar to when mtv stopped music videos

Every media enterprise has some lists like the following for their own enterprise which the bean counters analyze to recommend decisions:

In addition, the “bean counters analysis” process itself is getting more automated all the time via modern technology. Honest Statistics Science is the way of the future for hiring/firing decision making. The key for each of us is to be high value & low risk. And the same goes for whatever local, State, and federal governments we live under in the global economy as the people in the good “value to risk” places will prosper and the ones that don’t won’t.
