And what would that evidence be? Could it be that the recordings were made, and not destroyed? It would seem to me that if the recordings still exist, or if the FISA warrant can be produced, then it's a slam dunk. But I have a hard time believing those haven't been destroyed.
RE destroying evidence: sure there are plenty of T haters in the govt but there are also plenty of NSA and govt LEO ppl, imo, who can and would thwart the cover up attempts. Destroying evidence leads straight to fed indictments, million $ legal fees and prison.
