OK I will go along with that IF later on either everybody gets to deduct their health insurance premiums or nobody does. Only seems fair.

It could be handled in another bill later. Or rescind whatever it was that gave employees tax advantages nobody else got.

How about no one gets a “refund”. Just make everyone’s healthcare tax free.

I saw a Dem though who made a good point on repealing mandates. If employers are suddenly not required to provide insurance, will they just bail? Hell of a lot cheaper. I don’t think mandates are the answer but maybe delay employer’s escape clause to give all a chance to negotiate better deals and get in position.
