I can’t remember the recipient of my last post here from a couple of days ago, but shortly after that post, I mistakenly (clumsily) knocked this laptop into my bath water! YIKES!

I’ve spent the past day or two despairing! I took it apart as best and as much as I could, and carefully dried it with my hair dryer. (SMILE)

The blessed laptop finally fired up today and while it’s blinking a little, I have one window open and it’s functioning! The screen is getting brighter!

Very slow going, but hey! It’s working! Miraculous!

WOW! JUST WOW! I think I’ll leave it ON and go do my errands. I had come to the realization that I would have to go to Office Max or one of those places to buy a cheap replacement today. I had found one in an ad in today’s Sunday paper. I’m so GLAD I don’t have to incur that expense for my own clumsy behavior. Sheeesh. What was I thinking? The laptop on the side of the tub while I tried to hang towels! DUMB!
