I am so happy with Daylight Saving Time!
Unfortunately, the HOT weather I was promised has turned cold. My plans for every day at the beach have soured, save for MAYBE Tuesday and Wednesday.
Frost this morning at 42 in Nor Cal. We learned the hard way not to plant tomatoes until the 15th of May. Most of our plants are fairly frost resistant. Our younger clan gives my wife a nice Home Depot gift card at Christmas for her Easter early planting of yearlies.
However, it was great to charcoal a small pork loin roast and veggies yesterday in full daylight after 6 pm and to take a walk before that.
Our younger clan like to run, walk, bike or go fishing in the late afternoon/early evening. They did that yesterday. We got texts from all of them that they were hitting their beds about 8 pm and not to call them. We imagine, they were sore but happy critters this morning heading to work or school. In a month, they will have lost their winter poundage and be happier people.
All of us wish that we stayed on this time setting.
