was obama considered a micromanager? if so, there may be more chance that a trail leads to obama himself or (almost as damaging imho) to one of his trusted lieutenants such as valarie jarrett.
if not, then perhaps this is part of a multi-stage head fake by trump with the ultimate goal of bringing obama down on some other, even larger allegations, while keeping obama pinned in this mud field, busy trying to pull himself out of this, and distracted from some even larger end game goal that no one is yet aware of.
Maybe Trump is using twitter to create his own style of “fake news” for the MSM to screech about.
This isn’t McCarthyism.
Not only was Obozo not a micromanager, he was no manager or executive.
He was more of a bloviating puppet.
There are better analogies, but calling liberals McCarthyists will bug them more :-) McCarthy was generally right, though, so point taken. Watergate would be a better analogy, yes. Hoover got smeared a lot after he died. The closest analogy I can think of is LBJ’s wiretaps on Nixon during the 1968 campaign.

Do you honestly think trump has “proof” obama OK’ed this? Obama was probably in on it, but Trump will be seen as a liar if their is no proof.

It would be the same feeling as coming home to finding your house had been burgled and vandalized. The feeling of being unsafe in your own home would be strong.
Everyone knows that if Barack Obama wanted to wiretap Trump or anyone else, he wouldn’t be constrained by the legal requirement to get a FISA warrant. He believes he is above the law.
Yes. Tap first. Ask for permission later in order to gin up anything that could be construed as questionable.

Obama wiretapped the parents of Fox News’s James Rosen — with no legal authority that I know of.
He illegally used the IRS to punish political opponents.
He illegally used an executive order to give amnesty to “Dreamers” — a power even he admitted he didn’t have.
He and Eric Holder intervened ion the ongoing case against the New Black panthers to end the prosecution — after the Bush Administration had essentially gotten them convicted.
So why wouldn’t hve wiretap Trump, with or without a warrant?
