Gee, all those “garden spots” in Eastern Europe I’ve been longing to visit. Oh what will I do?
Poland is much better to visit than Western Europe. At least it still feels like Europe.
I’ve been to Romania, Ukraine, and just a whiff of Bulgaria and they are quite lovely in places.
I know. Those countries are like the “Chek cola” of European countries. :)
I did enjoy my visits to Romania and Bulgaria.
Many actually are reported to be garden spots. USD goes far.
Some have outlawed communism. Some, maybe most, are Christian. Many are attracting Europeans escaping migration invasions. Some have restricted immigration and refugee resettlement.
Do some searches. This isn’t the 1950s-1960s. Back about 15 years ago, I knew a Pole making decent money in the US. He was buying land in Poland and was a zloty millionaire. Bright guy.
