The GOPe is in sedition because they desire
to remain EXEMPT forever and in power forever.

America voted, and they are in the way AGAIN.

That ass from Texas cornyn was on Carlson the other night. He dodged the question about appointments and why members of his staff voted for clinton.

McC may be unaware of the slow process, as he is so slow himself.

The Republicans control committee hearing and scheduling votes. The Democrats can delay some, but the fact that the Senate is still confirming cabinet posts in March is the fault of Mitch McConnell.

The Senate not doing it’s job? I’m schocked. Back in the day, oh around the time of Bill Clinton, I used to call them the most dangerous body of men and women on the face of the earth. I don’t think much has changed.

How many RINOs in the Senate are up for reelection in 2018? Ronna Romney had better be seeing about getting conservative primary contenders lined up in those states. This is getting out of hand!

Well then, we’ll all just have to make sure that Donald Trump has 8 years to get them all appointed.

I saw Cornyn on Tucker as well and said the same thing to my wife. There was no excuse for not passing legislation like Kate’s Law that is already written and ready to go. Of the 40 days the Senate has been in session, Cornyn said he needed a 20 day break to look at where they want to build the wall-and then complain that it wouldn’t work.

One could only conclude that the Republicans are in collusion with the Democrats.

Number one on the RINO list for 2018 is probably Jeff Flake of Arizona. Followed by Bob Corker of Tennessee.

Pols blow with the wind. Knock off Flake and maybe Corker, and other RINOs will roll back their obstructionism.

This conflicts with the story posted here the other day about Trump’s desire to leave most of these posts empty.

Cornyn is busy making plans to scuttle anyone who might run against him in the GOP 2020 primary.

It is time to remove the 17th Amendment and let the States select the Senators as the original Constitution requires.

Probably don’t even need 90% of them.

Agree...getting rid of Flake especially would send a strong message.

-btw Does anyone miss Mark Kirk?

Cornyn is a problem and needs to be taken to task by the Texas GOP.

"This conflicts with the story posted here the other day about Trump’s desire to leave most of these posts empty."

Perhaps PDJT his taking a page out of Kelly Johnson's 14 Steps in running Classified Aircraft Programs, as seen below, hat tip To Lockheed for posting them on line, and note, why not supplant the word aircraft and come up with a generic version of this for all DC Cabinet, Branches, Programs etc?:

1. The Skunk Works manager must be delegated practically complete control of his program in all aspects. He should report to a division president or higher.
2. Strong but small project offices must be provided both by the military and industry.
3. The number of people having any connection with the project must be restricted in an almost vicious manner. Use a small number of good people (10% to 25% compared to the so-called normal systems).
4. A very simple drawing and drawing release system with great flexibility for making changes must be provided.
5. There must be a minimum number of reports required, but important work must be recorded thoroughly.
6. There must be a monthly cost review covering not only what has been spent and committed but also projected costs to the conclusion of the program.
7. The contractor must be delegated and must assume more than normal responsibility to get good vendor bids for subcontract on the project. Commercial bid procedures are very often better than military ones.
8. The inspection system as currently used by the Skunk Works, which has been approved by both the Air Force and Navy, meets the intent of existing military requirements and should be used on new projects. Push more basic inspection responsibility back to subcontractors and vendors. Don't duplicate so much inspection.
9. The contractor must be delegated the authority to test his final product in flight. He can and must test it in the initial stages. If he doesn't, he rapidly loses his competency to design other vehicles.
10. The specifications applying to the hardware must be agreed to well in advance of contracting. The Skunk Works practice of having a specification section stating clearly which important military specification items will not knowingly be complied with and reasons therefore is highly recommended.
11. Funding a program must be timely so that the contractor doesn't have to keep running to the bank to support government projects.
12. There must be mutual trust between the military project organization and the contractor, the very close cooperation and liaison on a day-to-day basis. This cuts down misunderstanding and correspondence to an absolute minimum.
13. Access by outsiders to the project and its personnel must be strictly controlled by appropriate security measures.
14. Because only a few people will be used in engineering and most other areas, ways must be provided to reward good performance by pay not based on the number of personnel supervised.
