She can use this “scandal” to her advantage and firm up her base. This just may get her the win in the runoff.
I don't know how French elections are structured but if,by chance,France has any noteworthy number of "moderates" or "independents" this could work against her.Seems to me that this will harden the positions that French voters have on the EU...those in favor will be more in favor and those opposed will be more opposed.Who knows if any minds will be changed.
