Seems most folks suffer from Islamophilia, a term I heard on a YouTube video, that is defined as a love of all things Islamic by people who know nothing about Islam.
People judge based on their own condition and so, assume that Islam has the same basic tenants as Christianity and Judaism.

I felt I had an edge in studying Islam because I am an Agnostic and don't have to compare it to any religious beliefs.
Islam is what it is, and anyone who says it is a religion of peace is ignorant of Islam's basic tenets.

Muslims believe there is only one God and Muhammad is His prophet.
Muhammad is the perfect man and you follow Muhammad's examples on how Allah wants the religion followed by Muslims.

You can find Allah's words in the Koran and Muhammad's examples on how to implement Allah's desires in the Hadiths. -tom

I had never thought of the Agnostic point of view. I would love to hear you discuss the subject with Islamic apologists who always resort to, “well...the crusades”, when they can’t win using logic.

“What about the crusades? I’m agnostic.” LOL!

I’d pay good money to see the reaction.
