I already had that experience when I went to an open local church meeting where a Muslim was the speaker explaining the "peaceful religion" to the naive Kafir audience.
On the subject of Jihad he went the its about making the individual a better person route. I challenged him to admit that there is also violent Jihad and he responded it is only used as a defensive weapon and mentioned fighting back against the Crusaders who came into Muslim lands.
I countered that the Muslims had spread from the Arabian Peninsula into downtown Europe long before the first crusade was launched.
And the Muslims slaughtered their way into Europe and other places and it was hardly defensive.
