I am 100% against recreational drug use. I can buy medicinal marijuana for people with chronic or terminal disease.

However, I also think this is a perfect example of how the 10th Amendment should work. Go ahead, Colorado, be the test case. But, 49 other states should lay back for ten years and see what happens, then make your decision.

Instead, the doofus political class sees a bandwagon and wants to jump on it just because that’s what the cool kids are doing.

“I am 100% against recreational drug use.”

Is your objection religious or are you just virtuous?

I am 100% against recreational use, too. It’s personal for me. Both my brothers have been ‘recreational users’, off and on for decades. Neither had any ambition to do much for themselves, and I blame that on the dope, as they were NOT brought up that way. And now, in the twilight of their lives, they decry their situation. They are not on welfare, they are both still making their own way in life, but they are not ‘better off than their parents’ by a long shot.
