Marijuana lacks the physiological markers for addiction. Users can be psychologically dependent, but addiction to marijuana doesn’t scientifically exist.
That said, having smoked marijuana in my younger years, I can tell you that not only did I not want to be on the road, if I was, I drove like I was 90 years old and in the far left lane. There was no “barreling.”
Drug policy should be given back to the states, IMO.

A lot of what the Federal Government regulates should return to the States. Also, a lot of what the Federal Government pays for should return to the States.
