The man who took that photo - My Great-Great Grandad - was a Russian Blacksmith who packed up his tools in a wheelbarrow, his family on a cattle coat, and headed for the Statue of Liberty in "the New Country".
Evidently the "possessed" nihilists kept getting repossessed and burning down the village in the Old country.
