Asked about the Russian dosier, he answered about it. That is absolutely clear in the audio.
It’s like asking someone if they were at the store when it was robbed, having them answer “I didn’t go to the store”, and them saying they perjured themselves because they had been to that store in the past.
He said he had no contact with the Russians (when he didn’t even have to - that was not the question). IF he had specified he had no Russian contact in regard to the campaign, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
FWIW, I’m not accusing him of perjury nor screaming for his resignation (that’s Pelosi n ilk).
As for the store analogy, the entire duration of the campaign is the time of the robbery. We now know that he was indeed at the store at that the time of the “crime.” The question is now is whether he was an innocent bystander or the one holding the gun (which as I said in another post, has yet to amount to any actual money lost from the cash register).
