No more white democrat POTUS candidates ever again. They have to triple down on tribal politics. The democrat party is the party of identifiable special interest groups.

They just need to find the black/Hispanic/atheist/Muslim/woman/trans who is also acceptable to the rest of the black/Hispanic/atheist/Muslim/women/trans in the party. It won't be easy. When your model is race politics, and each group thinks it's their turn, closing that sale is a near-impossible job.
