I think he presumes we know those countries pay the tarrif, not us.
I don’t think Trump is stupid (even though I question where he’s really thought this thing through).
But his representation of this to the public is misleading IMO. Since this was a, if not THE, cornerstone of his being elected, I’ll accept that, but at some point we need to get on track - and I think we will - and focus more on issues of repealing unconstitutional minimum wage, a job and economy killer, and letting the market economy free from government interference do what it does best - create wealth.
