At one point I noticed how Pence regarded Trump. He was just as you said, respectful. Ryan, however, looked smug or something. It didn’t come off as respect. Maybe it’s just because I don’t like Ryan at all.

Pence, imho, was just short of chilly toward Ryan. Gave me the feeling Ryan remains a problem. Hope I’m wrong.

Ryan showed more expression in general than did Pence. Probably cultural.
