I am convinced the Washington DC is just plain evil and anyone who goes there is instantly turned into leftist tool. The place need to be destroyed in a violent civil war.
I just about agree. Trump would probably have to compromise, or make some deals on immigration at some point years from now, but he needs to just enforce existing law and accomplish all he can on the wall at least until the 2018 mid-terms. If he does that and gets the economy and job creation going, Republicans will pick up a good number of senate seats and things will be easier.
If he starts compromising and giving ground on his main campaign promises so soon, he'll kill a lot of enthusiasm among his supporters and many of them will sit out some elections in the future.
