I don't wonder. I'm just glad that they do. It makes them look very seductive and attractive. Of course, one does need the figure for it.

Look at the geometry in that picture - because the seat of many chairs/sofas is deeper than is comfortable for shorter women. If she’s going to get her back vertical and resting on the back of the seat then her knees are back from the edge. She either has to tuck her legs up under herself or slouch down. Not in a skirt!
