The physical therapy for my dislocated shoulder was lots of movement of the upper arm while I was in the shower. I let the hot water do its job on the painful muscles and tendons.
It was much cheaper that PT at some clinic. And every once in a while when it bothers me, I’ll do that again.
A physical therapist will tell me what to do to maintain range of motion and avoid additional damage. Beyond that, it’s mostly personal effort. Dr. Hall recommended a couple of practices, and Caroline in my prayer group has a PT she likes. I will call around and see what they charge, since we’re paying cash.
