Tucson has some of the biggest rainbows I’ve ever seen, but then, they also have some of the most horrendous thunderstorms I’ve ever experienced, too.
Some person in a tricked out truck tried to side-swipe me on my way home. I misjudged a light and he was in a hurry to go nowhere. In fact, he was stuck at the next red light, too!
I will hang up the clothes in a bit. I will need to take another pain pill, and wait for it to work; otherwise, it will be more like a placebo.
My son called last night from Branson MO, as they were at a reunion for his wife’s family. He’s talking more and more about moving to St George when Sam (her son) gets off his mission.
Now I want to go back to bed.

Thanks, Face. Since yet another of our children is in the process of wandering off the reservation we had a more stressful Father’s Day than I would have liked.
But, sest la vy as the French say.
Our shredder quit shredding and just started making an annoyed hum. I was thinking new shredder time, but some paper had just been seriously packed in between some of the teeth wheels. A good flossing and we are back to shredding.
Tie them together. It's more motivating for her to learn to figure out how to do them in her own that way.
In case anyone is wondering, God is not supporting LGBTQ rights with that display.
Ask your son to say ‘Hello’ to Silver Dollar City for me. I haven’t been back in a while. We used to visit my grandpa when we were kids. He was the blacksmith there.
He said they were going to Silver Dollar City today, as part of the festivities. He said, “Everything is structured for the whole week, Ma.” I’m thinking, “You poor guy.”
He also towed his restored VW to the reunion for Bug Fun while they were there. I hope he has lots of pics when he gets back. I don’t think he’s going to post much on FB while he’s gone, just to be safe.
It dropped to 83° before the sun came up, but it’s making up for that. It’s supposed to be 114°F by 1600. I came back from doing laundry and because of the A/C and the fact that I need to change the Filtrete air filter, my apartment smelled like a bar.
Hang in there. Some mothers just think it’s time for Walkabout and off they go. Looked at correctly, it could be amusing. Or not. Or only if it happened to someone else’s family... ;o]
After a bag or two of shreddy things, I turn over the business end of the shredder and see what I can do to make the process a little easier. And about the same length of time, I add oil to the teeth. I can’t afford to buy a new shredder, with this move coming up.
Best get that filter done soon .
They used a Smoke bomb in the car when it stank like a Bar two years ago.
Apparently a fungus grows in the system, hence the smell.
Yepper. I should have done it on payday, but now I will have to check my finances and see if I can get one in the morning. They are good but very spendy.
This is just because my neighbor smokes and the fact that at least the last two tenants in this apartment were smokers. HUD keeps saying they’re going to be “smoke free” within 18 months, but that was two years ago.
Meanwhile, me and my poor compromised lungs have to get the stench from the neighbor, who shares the attic with me. It’s convoluted, but I get it, anyway.
I have these things I bought when I bought the shredder. It says if you feed one of these things in every time you empty the shreddings it properly oils the mechanisms.
Proof of that is they just issued yet another flash flood warning....still bright and sunny with scuttling clouds.
Gotham has a flash flood warning until 8pm. It was originally until 4am. However, with all the muggings in Central Park since Stop and Frisk was suspended I think the weather is afraid to come here.
