Where are you going with this?

Freedom is not open for definition. As for a free press, the definition of that is also not open for a new definition. If the MSM has an agenda that is being driven by a limited fiscal source, then they are not free.

Agreed, and that makes it an unfair press, but they are still free to report the truth or distort the truth.

Remember back in 2014 when Obama wanted to put political monitors in the newsrooms. If that had succeeded, we would no longer have a free press, and as you write, we certainly don't have a fair press now.
