I have a lingering and genuine loathing for anyone who voted for George W. Bush and even more so if they re-elected him.

Bush became the focus of a cult of personality that was too much a harbinger of the one of Barack Obama.

There was nothing right about Bush worship and everything wrong with it. But he said "Christ, He changed my heart" at the Republican candidates debate and that coupled with having an R fixed next to his name turned on the blinders for millions of Christians who SHOULD have known better. Who should have exercised no small amount of discernment.

Paul told us to test the spirits. Testing a man who wants the most powerful office in the world, just as much.

On that score, a lot of Christians in America blew it with GWB.

W was still better than the alternative. Agreed W’s statement is stupid. Just think if Gore or Kerry were elected. I know, you will respond how it wouldn’t be any different.
