Man, we should have said a big Hell No back then and confronted Bush senior about that comment and the Republican Party. It was kind of glossed over with, "At least he's a Republican, was a War Hero and was VP, head of CIA," etc, and was given a pass.

Also, as I look back, with Perot and then Bush really not fighting for reelection, it's almost as if he wanted Clinton to 'further the goals' so to speak. . Forward. .
