NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -
A driver plowed into a crowd of Endymion revelers Saturday, injuring several people.
The crash happened at about 6:45 p.m. at the corner of Orleans and N. Carrollton avenues. Police said initial reports show so far about a dozen people are in critical condition.
That number could rise, police said.
One person was arrested,according to FOX 8 reporter Rob Krieger.

Guy looks like an out of it drunk college student. That was my first thought seeing his arrest photo.

I’ve never lived in New Orleans but have visited 8 or 10 times. I would agree. The bias against whites is palpable. I lived in Baltimore back in the early 2000s and thought it was pretty racially divisive but NOLA is just awful.

More than likely it wasn’t a drunk driver, only because parade routes are pretty well barricaded. Sounds like a deliberate act.

The Malibu was hit by the suspect vehicle which I believe was a pickup truck.

A man armed with a knife was shot and injured by police Saturday after he drove a car into a group of pedestrians in Heidelberg, Germany, local police said.
Three people were injured, one seriously, Mannheim police said. After driving his car into the group, the suspect tried to flee the scene and was then shot by officers. The suspect was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

I didn’t know that. Never been. But I’ve heard the corruption stories regarding NOPD and the local government.
If your media are like ours, you’ll never know if you rely upon them. It’s gotten to the point of having to “read” what’s not written like in the old Soviet Union. If there’s no name published, no ID whatsoever, it’s a reasonable assumption that you’re dealing with a member of a protected group.
One of the victims was a police officer (woman).
No mention of religion. But he was very drunk, they say, so since Muslims would never drink before a terror attack (cough9/11cough) it can’t be a Muslim.
Still Germany has not mentioned the religion of the “White German” who did the same thing yesterday in Heidelberg.

That person didn’t even seem to notice the initial hit, but the crowd reacted. Many people were saying, “You hit that car!” That made the driver of the truck panic. He slammed on the gas in what looked like an attempt to leave the scene. He hit the vehicle again, much harder this time, before going around that vehicle and into a crowd of people.”
