Exactly, I don’t see Russia, with it’s negative birth rate and fumbling toward capitalism and religious reawakening as a threat.
Pretty sure they face the same Islamist threat we do.
The left needs a foreign threat other than Islam and this is the best they could come up with. I’m really tired of their maim and frame politics.
The Islamist threat is greater in Russia because the percentage of Moslems in the population is much higher than ours. The threat is greater but the Russians are actively fighting the threat while our government has been promoting it for a couple of decades.
