It’s not an “affection” for Putin. It is Christian hopefulness that Russia is taking its place as a leader in the world that will protect orthodox Christianity in a post-modernist world.
Putin and Russia also refuse to be bullied by the militant homosexual agenda lead by the degenerate Human Rights Campaign.
That’s good enough for me.
