Probably because they were not able to find it in the library. With political correctness they most likely renamed it to Poultry of Short Stature. After all, although he/she/it may be a chicken, he/she/it may not have identified as a chicken, so you have to refer to he/she/it as poultry. And then of course, you can't refer to anything as little. That implies they are inferior to someone of normal size.
