What? Would we softies give up our leisure and entertainment to make a statement?
You bet.
Kellogg, Nordstrom’s, Macy, Streep movies, etc. Easy losses.
I get mine from the library too. Most times there's a waiting list so it might be a month or two before it's ready for my pick up.
With that being said, I record every DVD I get from the library then watch them at my leisure......
A DVD/CD burner will only cost you about $25, 1 Click DVD Copy software will cost you $59 and a 100 count spindle of Verbatim DVD-R disks will cost you about $20........
Add Dixie Chicks, Tim Robbins, and Susan Sarandon.
I remember Robbins and Sarandon actually complaining about being boycotted because of their big mouths.
The two theaters nearest to me closed down, so the problem kind of took care of itself.
This could be fun, but so many of us, years ago, already dropped Hollywood.
Seriously, who watches this drek?
Celebrities are not on my radar. I occasionally see one or so in restaurants. Their presence is akin to seeing the waiter approach your table or passersby.
If they produce something entertaining, I’m glad. But, watching a movie for a couple of hours and then driving home does not effect my life, nor does it give me some reason for living, or change my outlook.
Frankly, volunteer work does far more to enlighten me than celebrities’ opinions. Meeting people who have given up everything to help, cure, love, and engage others does a great deal to humble me. Those who create and produce products, scientific and engineering programs, and computer assisted surgeries using their enormous talent and intellect are worth praising.
I believe listening to someone who has zero effect in life other than performing an act is a waste of my time.
For some reson, I don’t think many of these protestors over everything Trump have alot of extra cash to spend on the exhorbitant movie ticket prices. They need successful people that have jobs and spending money, but they offend these people into not buying.
I haven’t been in a theater since the original Star Wars.
I wonder if you would have enjoyed the movie knowing that at The Golden Globes a few weeks ago, the main star ( former Spider-Man) sat at the up front and center table and kissed Ryan Reynolds longingly on the lips....
....then went on late night & I can’t remember which show) and gave the host two lingering kisses on the mouth!
Ewww
I’m trying to remember what year did Bambi come out?
Certain movies have to be seen regardless of politics. Guardians of the Galaxy, Lego Batman, Star Wars. But they never get good awards no matter how much box office they do.
Yeah, where’s the strike they were promising?
I haven’t watch awards shows in years, don’t plan on watching this year.
I would never have expected that. In the book he seems normal. (I haven't seen the movie version.)
Old movies are available for free and with out risk on Pirates Bay via Bot torrent
that is what probably killed his mom.
Same here. As far as I can remember, the last time I watched the Oscars was when Braveheart won. I don’t remember ever watching them prior to that. I’m just not interested but I was interested in Braveheart.
I looked it up, August 21, 1942.
Remake of True Grit in 2010 for me.
Bingo! We have a winner
