I am of the opinion that the GOP should double the number of immigration judges. This will allow the administration to appoint a whole new set of conservatives to the federal bench and create a pool of future justices that can be drawn from to fill the federal vacancies

I also think splitting up the 9th into at least 2 perhaps 3 courts would be a good idea.

Yes. There are also 118 federal judgeships vacant at the moment. They are Trump’s to fill. The Senate should set up a fast track where they spend fifteen minutes talking to each that Trump’s team submits, and then confirm them. Fill them all in a few weeks and there is nothing the Dims can do about it since it only requires 51 votes.

Then break up the Circuit Appeals courts that are huge like the 9th, expand the number of judges on those appeals courts and stack them with young constitutionalist judges. Restructuring the courts requires Congress, unfortunately.
