My niece was at one of these Townhalls in Northern California. She witnessed the leftist group outside organizing outside the event, and how they dispersed across the room once they got inside to give the impression of a larger crowd. She said they were very aggressive and older people were frightened of them.
I’ve read about this tactic and believe it’s called the diamond strategy or something similar. Like minded trouble makers disperse to opposite corners of a room (with more in the middle, I’m sure) to give the impression that most of the crowd agrees. It’s all optics with these liars.
