"Precious few references have been found in early historical records that point to possible crop circles. Probably the most renowned is the "Mowing Devil" case of 1678, in which a farmer's field was said to have been visited by a devilish entity that trampled the crops down in a circle."
Interesting article; includes some info. about a 1964 incident

.
No, he addressed only the issues the Father sent him to do.
The first was to demolish the Pharisee’s false laws, removing the unscriptural burden. Yes he did this in plain words.
The second was to fulfill the three “Spring” feasts: Passover, Unlevened Bread, and Pentecost.
That was exactly what he did, taking exactly 70 weeks to do so.
He definitely cares what we call him; only his true name Yehoshua has power. The transliterated acronym of the curse that the Pharisees placed on his name (YSHU, transliterated Jesus) has none.
The Father called him his only “begotten” son.
The father’s messenger, Gabriel, named him Yehoshua (Yah Saves)

Thanks for the link.
I had never seen pictures like the ones in your post 76.
Some of the huge, elaborate ones, I’d have to see myself. If they are real, not photo-shops, and people have actually seen them in fields - I would have a very hard time believing that people made some of those overnight. It seems it would take a lot more time.
There was an odd show that Art Bell did once - (I know, all of his shows are odd ;-) - with a man named Doug Ruby, who claimed that the crop circles contain information, including ‘instructions’ for building a spaceship (Hey, as Art himself always said, ‘It’s entertainment!”):

I don’t know what I think about it, but I do like THINKING about things like this ;-)
Have you ever heard of Robert Kirk, and’The Secret Commonwealth’?

No, and Thank you for the link.
Thanks for the link!
I honestly didn’t see more than a few that couldn’t have been done by a few men overnight; most of the others could have been done by a few men, too, over a slightly longer period with careful planning. And without knowing the provenance of the whole thing, I’m undecided ;-)
They are all obviously works of art, and that’s where the importance lies. Art comes from somewhere inside of us; it always has a psychological/spiritual component and message/meaning.
My question would be, What are we saying to ourselves, by this? If we are making this ourselves, what hope or aspiration does it embody? And if, on the very outside chance that some other “intelligence” is doing it, what is *their* message, and why are we fascinated with it?
(Even if someone is making it just to be clever, or to help a field-owner raise cash, I think design always has its own inner meaning, and always affects us on some level.)
I liked the chalk horse, at about 3:38. At first I thought it was superimposed, because I’m not familiar with that one and it looked clumsy; but I looked it up, and it seems to be a real representation, even though it looks ‘off’ in the video.
(My favorite has always been the Uffington..)

COULD YOU get the straw layered like this?
HOW would you twist and tie so many of these into knots AT NIGHT ?
How exactly would a board do this to the stems ?
HOW TO MAKE (crappy looking) CROP CIRCLES... IN THE DAYLIGHT.... WITH A BUSLOAD OF PEOPLE... AND PORTA POTTIES....AND FOOD AND WATER... AND MATCHING T-SHIRTS... AND CAMERA CREWS.
Well, I have to ask: What do you think? Who/What is making them?
The first four pictures, if people long in the past came across them, might cause them to come up with an other-worldly explanation, and maybe tie in with the folklore of some sort of ‘elemental’ intelligence, fairies, etc. But why are there so few historical mentions?
And if this is new, what is it, what does it mean?
I don't know. I suspect that it is some form of life that is plasma based. We perceive them as globes of light. They are trying to tell us something, but we just don't seem to get it, yet.

Besides...it’s not like the human race will ever be able to get to those worlds in the foreseeable future. Let’s make use of the solar system first...there’s plenty of space and resources in our neck of the galaxy!
I was always impressed with Jacques Vallee’s thinking on the UFO business; and he has written about this, too. What he says seems important in ways that go beyond ‘crop circles’:
