Twelve states that honor the Constitution, 38 more to go.

I had no idea those New England states were so sensible.

Probably a good idea since the Second Amendment doesn’t say anything about permits. Women don’t need a permit to get an abortion and killing babies isn’t even mentioned in the Bill of Rights.

Can Massachusetts be far behind? Funny you should ask that. The Massachusetts legislature just overwhelmingly passed a 14 day waiting period, and background check, before one can buy more than a dozen rubber bands.

In Mass, you need a permit to eat a poptart in the shape of a gun.

As of 22 February 2017, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas[disputed], Idaho (residents only),
Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, Vermont, West Virginia[5] and
Wyoming (residents only) do not require a permit to carry a loaded concealed firearm for
any person of age who is not prohibited from owning a firearm. Permitless carry
in Idaho and Wyoming is applicable to residents only; non-residents must have a
permit to carry a concealed handgun in these states. All aforementioned jurisdictions
do not require a permit to openly carry either except for certain localities in Missouri.

Good one! :-) I live in a town chock full of BMW SUVs that still sport "Bernie" bumper stickers.I'm very tempted to apply for a gun permit *solely* because the Rats don't want me to have one.Never had a *single* problem with the law (yah, mine's been a boring life) but I still expect to be turned down by the Police Chief.Assuming I am denied I'm undecided as to whether or not I should challenge the denial in the Federal courts.

Hillary, but it was very close, and was probably the result of bused in mass voters.

Go for it-———pushing the envelope can be great fun.
